English typing speed of a minimum of 40 words per minute or Marathi typing speed of a minimum of 30 words per minute, Government Commercial Certificate of this qualification is required. Knowledge of the Marathi language is required. |
| Stenographer (Lower Grade) | Candidates Must Pass the Secondary School Examination With Good Marks. Shorthand speed of at least 100 words per minute. English typing speed of a minimum of 40 words per minute or Marathi typing speed of a minimum of 30 words per minute, Government Commercial Certificate of this qualification. Knowledge of the Marathi language is required. |

Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category will be eligible to apply if they have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination (10th). Candidates who are ex-servicemen will be eligible to apply if they have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination (10th). A candidate who is a child of Forest Khabare and Forest personnel who have died or got seriously injured in the Naxal attack will be eligible to apply if he/she has passed Secondary School Certificate Examination (10th). |
